Like many other companies, we use various cookies, local storage, session storage, log files, pixel tags, web beacons, scripts, eTags, device IDs, URL parameters, software development kits (SDKs) and other similar technologies (together, "cookies and similar technologies") to collect and store information about your device and your use of our websites and services. Where this policy applies

These domains and brands are connected to each other, so that your COSVerses Passport, preferences and choices work across all of them. This category includes the cookies that store the preferences and settings you have chosen, which make the services work as you expect. They are crucial for the services to work correctly. You can block or delete them through your browser settings, but this will affect functionality, and you may not be able to use certain features or services, such as signing in or paying.
(2) Analytics and Performance Cookies
These help us understand and improve the performance of our services. They collect information about how you interact with our services, such as the pages you visit, the time you spend on each page, the features you use, and any error messages you encounter. They also collect technical information about your device and the websites or sources that directed you to us. COSATA is our own analytics and measurement system. It collects the same kinds of information as a typical large platform analytics system, without any information that relates to games. It uses cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies, and may collect: device and session identifiers; device type and model, operating system and version, browser type and version, language, time zone and screen settings; IP address and approximate location derived from it; pages viewed, clicks and other interactions, referrer and campaign parameters; and performance data, errors and diagnostics. We use it to analyze and improve our services, to protect them against bots and abuse, to detect fraud, and to measure our marketing. Because COSATA is our own system, this data is processed on our infrastructure, with our main data center in Singapore, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our websites do not show advertising. When we advertise on other platforms, the link you click may contain parameters that tell us which advertisement and platform you came from. We read these parameters and store them as described in Section 3 so that we can measure our marketing and understand where our visitors come from. This is how we create audiences and measure the results of campaigns on those platforms. Our marketing emails may also contain a tracking pixel that tells us whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked. You can block this by stopping your email program from loading images automatically, or by opting out of marketing emails.
Our websites may include content from, or links to, social media and other major platforms that we use or connect with, such as login, share and follow buttons, embedded videos, posts, music players and maps. When you view or interact with this content, the platform may set its own cookies and similar technologies and collect information about you, even if you do not have an account with it. These platforms are third parties, and their handling of your data is governed by their own policies. Please read them:

Their cookies and similar technologies fall within the Marketing or Analytics categories, or are used for the embedded feature itself, and the policies of each platform apply. Where we ask for your consent before loading embedded content, we load it only after you agree.
Our consent banner
When you first visit our websites, a banner may appear. The banner depends on the website. On most of our websites it has a single button to accept. On websites that collect more information, or use it for additional purposes, we give you more choices: to accept only what is strictly necessary, to open more settings and choose by category, or to reject all optional cookies. If a website does not show a banner, it does not use technologies that need your consent, except for Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Analytics, which operate as described in this Cookie Policy and in our Privacy Policy.
Changing your mind
You can change your choices at any time in the cookie settings on this page, by switching each category on or off. Switching a category off stops us from using those technologies from then on, but it does not delete the information already saved on your device. To remove the information we have already saved, use the "Reset saved data" button at the bottom of the settings. Because our domains and COSVerses Group brands are connected, your choices apply to all of them.
How long we keep your choice
We store your choice for up to 12 months, and then ask you again, or earlier if we add new categories of cookies or make a significant change. We keep a record of your choices, with the date and the version of this policy you saw, so that we can show that we respected them.
Where the law requires consent, and where it does not
The way we ask depends on the law where you are. In places where consent is required before optional cookies are used, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom and Thailand, we ask before we use them. In places where the law does not require prior consent, such as some US states, we may still show the banner and respect your choices, and we give you the right to opt out. Our standard approach follows the generally accepted practice of large international services.
Opt-out signals
Where required by law, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the use of marketing cookies and similar technologies. Browsers may also send a "Do Not Track" signal; as there is no common standard for responding to it, please use the tools in this Cookie Policy and your privacy settings at https://passport.cosverses.com/private-setting.
Most devices (for mobile applications) and browsers (for web pages) let you accept, block or delete cookies. These settings are usually found in the "options" or "preferences" menu of your browser. If you block or delete cookies, local storage or session storage, you may not be able to use some functions, such as verifying your sign-in status, protecting your sign-in security, paying, or keeping your language and cookie choices. We do not sell your data. The data collected through cookies and similar technologies is shared among COSVerses Group brands, which are connected to each other and use the same Privacy Policy. We do not otherwise share it with third parties for their own purposes. The exceptions are the service providers we use to run our services, such as Clerk, Link, Cloudflare and Google, which set their own cookies or process data for us as described in this Cookie Policy and in our Privacy Policy, and government authorities where the law requires it. Where a third party's own code runs on our pages and collects data itself, its handling of that data is governed by its own policy.
For accounts that appear to belong to a child, or where the law requires, we turn off marketing cookies and similar technologies by default and use only what is strictly necessary and what we need for internal operations such as security and service stability. We will update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices and services, or in the law. When we post changes, we revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. We will notify you of material changes in advance, normally at least 30 days before they take effect, and where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent again.
